THE LOCATION

Welcome to WOOD MOOD Lodges—a magical hideaway 50 minutes from Porto, designed for peace, connection, and renewal. It's a sanctuary of tranquility, opening its doors exclusively for us. With 9 wooden chalets elevated among the trees, a communal lodge, and a serene pool, it’s a retreat that invites you to slow down and embrace the beauty around you. With a swimming pool and breathtaking surroundings just 5 minutes from Moledo Beach, the Coura River, and the mountains, it's a place to surrender to nature, reset your rhythm, and rediscover yourself.

SOFIA HOMEM RIBEIRO

From of academic learnings and practical experience, Sofia brings a fresh perspective to wellness and performance.

Having studied Medicine and a holding a Double Degree in Law and Management, with experience in consulting and startups, she has the strategic mindset to navigate complex challenges.

Certified by Yoga Alliance with 400 hours of training, and with an Integrative Health & Nutrition diploma from the IIN in New York, Sofia’s approach merges ancient wisdom with modern science.

ESSE MOOD is Sofia's passion project, where she shares her transformative approach to living a fulfilling life, by igniting each individual's potential.

Combining small, impactful changes with time-tested practices, she guides individuals on a joyful journey of self-discovery and optimization to unlock your full potential and create the life you desire.

SOFIA BICHÃO

Sofia took her first ballet class when she was 3 years old and the passion for dance stayed with her forever. She ended up graduating in dance, having worked as a dancer and teacher and, years later, recognizing the importance of working the body and mind together, she became certified in yoga.

With the same logic and understanding the importance of working on the mind to deal with everyday stress, she also completed a course on mindfulness techniques.

Along this path, and with a degree in marketing in between, Sofia worked in the corporate world for 10 years while simultaneously teaching Ballet, Contemporary Dance and, later, Barre Body.

In 2020, she officially created the BBody Barre method, with several types of classes that allow for complete and effective body and mind work and whose goal is to help all students achieve their perfect lifestyle, which should not be "perfect" in the true sense of the word, but aligned with who each person is individually.

After 4 years of the digital studio, still in operation, and the Teachers Training program (training other teachers in the method), in 2024, Sofia started hosting retreats helping others in a more direct and personalized way, with all the tools she has learned.
